課程概述

We look for social entrepreneurs, social innovator and visionaries in NPO or elsewhere who are coming up with new methods of solving society’s problems. University is obligated to discover such talents as social entrepreneurs and innovators. This course introduces students to the most effective methods of social change by case studies and observing existing social enterprises (SE).
This course is not a traditional lecture-exam course. It is highly interactive, experiential and dynamic. This is a class that requires enthusiasm, passion, motivation, and whole-hearted participation from the students. It meant to inspire social entrepreneurship.
This course is offered in summer, twice a week, one whole day from 9AM to 3PM each time, for 6 weeks including starting and exam dates.
1.To become familiar with NPO and a range of social enterprises.
2.To explore the role of social entrepreneurship in improving society.
3.To acquire skill in writing a case of social enterprise to produce enduring social impact.
4.To improve team work and communications skills.
